Amalia Walton

Amalia is an environmental attorney and government affairs specialist with expertise in issues related to aquatics, shorelines, natural resources, and project development. 

 She has been involved in drafting and negotiating legislation related to Seattle's Shoreline Master Program and Washington's Shoreline Management Act.  Amalia has worked with a variety of regulatory agencies, including Seattle's Department of Construction and Office of Planning, Washington’s Department of Natural Resources, Washington’s Department of Fish and Wildlife, Washington’s Department of Ecology, and various federal, state, and local governmental entities.  She is past president and board member of the Seattle Floating Homes Association and former attorney volunteer with the King County Bar Association Nonprofit Assistance Center.
