Seasonal Outreach Coordinator

Stefanie is an environmental educator with more than twenty years of experience creating and managing marine mammal outreach programs, impacting over 50,000 students and community members in the Pacific Northwest. With a graduate degree focused on studying the foraging behavior of the Southern Resident killer whales, Stefanie is also highly experienced on the water as a researcher, naturalist, and protected species observer, collecting data on marine mammals throughout the Salish Sea, Arctic Ocean, and Australia. She is also a trained marine mammal oil spill responder and has been part of the Northwest Marine Mammal Stranding Network since 2015.
