The Pacific Northwest’s most iconic species, the Southern Resident killer whale, faces its most challenging period with record low Chinook runs and the passing of key individuals. SR3 – Sealife Response, Rehabilitation and Research, Executive Director, Dr. Lesanna Lahner, will provide an update on the state of our local whales as well as new efforts to build a marine wildlife hospital in Seattle to rehab and release injured marine mammals and other critters.
